In the capitol city we have been busy celebrating our 200th anniversary this week. Channel 4 meteorologist Ben Gelber stopped by the Ohio Historical Society on Thursday, February 16 to find out how the weather relates to the founding of the city and how Columbus got it’s name. Archivist and political historian Tom Rieder is interviewed in the OHS Research Room. Curator Lisa Wood shared historic maps, photographs and newspapers from the Society’s collections.
