Ohio History Center Interpretive Volunteer
Ohio History Connection is excited to announce the launch of our new volunteer program for our Ohio History Center interpretive volunteers! The application for the position is open until January 31, 2025 and training for volunteers will occur in February 2025. Ohio History Center Quilt Project Curatorial Volunteer
The Curatorial Department is excited to launch their historic quilt project in January 2025 and are seeking volunteers to help prepare these cultural resources for the move into their new home! Ohio History Center Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation (NAGPRA) Volunteer
The American Indian Relations teams is seeking volunteers with experience in human osteology to help identify human remains. Please note: Background checks are required for all applicants 16 years of age and older. Placement in any volunteer position is contingent upon successful results. Background checks cost $35 and are completed at the Ohio History Center located at 800 E. 17th Ave Columbus, OH. Please bring cash to your onboarding appointment OR make your check out to the Ohio History Connection.
