Voting Ends on Saturday, June 12

You have one week left to cast your vote for the man or woman who will represent Ohio in Statuary Hall.

There are several ways to submit your ballot:

• Visit one of 36 Ohio historic sites and museums around the state and cast your vote in person.
• Download a ballot and mail it to: Ohio Statuary Vote c/o Ohio Historical Society 1982 Velma Ave. Columbus, OH 43211
• Complete your ballot in Microsoft Word and e-mail it to ohiostatue@ohiohistory.org. The ballot must be filled out completely. Simply e-mailing your selection, without the ballot, will not count.
• The nominees are:

• James M. Ashley
• Thomas Edison
• Ulysses S. Grant
• William McCulloch
• Jesse Owens
• Judith Resnick
• Albert Sabin
• Harriet Beecher Stowe
• Harriet Taylor Upton
• Orville and Wilbur Wright ( Wright Brothers counted as one)

Updated August 2018: The winner was Thomas Edison. He now occupies William Allen’s former space in Statuary Hall. See more here.
