This past month the State Archives Local Government Records Program began its series of local government records management training webinars. On April 26th Electronic Records Archivist Jillian Carney conducted the workshop which covered the procedures for creating records retention schedules and filing certificates of disposal with the State Archives. Participants had the option of either attending from their own office or with a group of their peers at the Akron Summit County Public Library. Additional webinars are also scheduled:
