As a statewide public-private partnership, the Ohio History Connection engages people and communities across Ohio in many meaningful ways.
Did you know that we are responsible for more than 50 historic sites and museums in 40 counties across the state?
Did you know that we operate the State Archives and the State Historic Preservation Office, located in the Ohio History Center museum?
We also help teachers teach history and social studies in the classroom by providing access to the “real stuff” of Ohio history. That “real stuff” of history includes more than two million objects, the largest collection of Ohio newspapers in the state and countless images that help document the story of Ohio.
We would like to share our passion for Ohio history with your community or organization. Your group may also want to consider hosting your event at the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village in Columbus or at one of the more than 50 historic sites and museums across Ohio.

We also conduct statewide outreach efforts for specific historic topics or professional development.
