Visit our 1847 Homestead Museum, includes a one room school replica and displays of historic clothing along with the working farm. The 1854 Barn with local historic farm tools and our 600+ years old Bur Oak Tree. We will have in-person guided tours to explain about our unique history of our community. Free refreshments. This is the family ancestorial farm of the inventor of the Iams Pet Foods. Points of interest in our city includes “Olde Town” – which is the core of old Trotwood, the Iams Homestead Museum, the Trotwood Depot Museum with restored railroad cabooses, city parks, churches and many older homes. Drive down our new Main Street and see the new Senior Center, Library, Courthouse, Trotwood Government Center and the Senior Lofts.
