Celebrate Presidents Day at the Ohio History Center!  

Explore Ohio’s rich presidential history through conversations with our historians, book talks with authors, our collection of memorabilia and archives, a new documentary on a fascinating Ohio Presidential candidate, a special exhibit on voting rights, and trivia questions. Learn more about how to be involved in the various levels of government and even register to vote! 

This event is included with museum admission, but pre-registration is recommended.

Schedule of activities and presentations:

11:00 a.m.: Author Keila Dawson: Book reading of No Voice Too Small and activities to help young people find their writing voice to advocate for something they care about; Red Carpet Presentation area

Noon presentation: Ohio History Connection Curator Marlise Schoeny: Breaking the Bonds of Popular Fashion: Reform Dress in the 19th Century; Arthur C. Johnson Auditorium

1:00 p.m. presentation: Author Heather Cole: Across the Buckeye State with the Ohio Presidents; Arthur C. Johnson Auditorium

2:30 p.m. documentary and producer Q&A: Victoria Woodhull: Shattering Glass CeilingsArthur C. Johnson Auditorium

Noon–2 p.m. Curator's Table: Ohio History Connection Curator Ben Baughman with Presidential Memorabilia collections; by Conway the mastodon
