Join us for our inaugural event, “The Real Pocahontas: The True Story of America’s Most Popular Native American Princess”.

An exploration of the legendary life of Pocahontas, and the timeline of events that led her to become one of America’s most memorable historical figures with Abby Farnsworth, a graduate student at Ashland University, currently pursuing an MA in American History and Government with a research focus on Women’s History.

What we will be discussing:

– Her encounters with John Smith

– Her marriage to John Rolfe

– Her Legacy
