School may be out, but history is in! Explore different themes throughout the summer with story times, tours and hands-on activities. On Thursdays there will be story times ideal for children (3-6) followed by a special activity related to the month's storybook. Fridays will have museum tours on a variety of different historical subjects. And on Saturdays during Summer in the Center there will be special activities for older kids in the museum.

Storytime at the Museum

Stop by with the little ones on Thursday for a special picture book storytime followed by an activity for kids age 3–6. Included with Ohio History Center museum admission.

Museum Tours
FRI., JUNE 7, 14, 21 & 28, JULY 5, 12 & 19 • 11–11:30 A.M. & 1–1:30 P.M.
Join a museum staff member for a tour that could cover a variety of different historical subjects ranging from natural history to textiles. Included with Ohio History Center museum admission.
 
1950s Road Trip

In this special 1950s-themed activity for kids age 6–12, participants help create the perfect ’50s getaway! Included with Ohio History Center museum admission. Ideal for families with older students (6-12).
