Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the artifact and archival collections at the Heritage Center, home of the Clark County Historical Society in downtown Springfield, Ohio. This year, we celebrate the 134th anniversary of our impressive block-long Richardsonian Romanesque building—an artifact in itself, and the largest preserved by our dedicated staff and volunteers.
During the tour, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see, touch, and explore items that showcase our community’s rich history. Learn the fascinating stories behind the artifacts, ask questions, and chat with our knowledgeable staff. You’ll also get an inside look at how we care for items not on display and discover how our behind-the-scenes efforts help us fulfill our mission to collect, preserve, and interpret the area’s history.
