About the Author:
Christopher C. Cross served as a county and district court judge for almost 19 years in the most populous judicial district in the State of Colorado. An avid history buff, his interest in civil rights and the shame of slavery, segregation and the treatment of African and Native Americans led to years of reading and research. He is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio and the University of Denver College of Law. Judge Cross currently works as a mediator and arbitrator with JAMS/Denver. He is married to Nancy with three adult sons, each with a wife or significant other, and one beautiful granddaughter.
