Armstrong Air & Space Museum–Wapakoneta, OH
Explore the museum that chronicles Wapakoneta, Ohio, native Neil Armstrong’s life and achievements. The Armstrong Air & Space Museum stands as a repository of Ohio’s aeronautical history and a monument to Ohio’s contribution to aviation and space exploration from the early pioneer days through the space shuttle era.
The standard group experience includes a guided tour of the museum, a short 30-minute documentary in our Astro-Theater, and “Discovery time” in our Modern Space Gallery. Groups have the option to visit the museum store at that time as well.
The museum requires a group size of at least 15 paying guests or more to be considered for a guided tour and group rate. Groups can be no larger than 100 persons. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance before the intended arrival date.

Cedar Bog Nature Preserve–Urbana, OH
Experience Ohio as it was over 10,000 years ago as you walk along a mile-long ADA accessible boardwalk through this 450-acre preserve. Depending on the time of year, you’ll encounter a variety of unique wildflowers including skunk cabbage in February, a sea of marsh marigolds in March and April and the beautiful showy lady slipper orchid in May.

Fort Meigs–Perrysburg, OH
Discover the War of 1812 at one of America’s largest reconstructed log forts. Explore blockhouses, artillery batteries, a quartermaster’s building and numerous traverses used by troops to defend the fort from British cannon fire. Learn about Ohio’s role in the war at this National Historic Landmark through soldiers’ letters and diaries, uniforms and weapons located in the adjacent Museum and Visitors Center.
The reconstructed fort is open April–October. The visitor center and museum are open year-round at a discounted rate.

Fort Recovery–Fort Recovery, OH
Explore the site of two 1790s battles between the U.S. Army and an alliance of nine Native nations. Discover a reconstructed stockade and blockhouses plus a museum and nearby monument.
Guided outdoor battlefield tours (1 hour) are scheduled the 2nd Sunday of the month May through October at Noon and 3 p.m. Tour included with museum admission.
Private outdoor battlefield tours (1 hour) can be scheduled March through October. Cost is $20/group, with an additional charge of $5/person. Includes museum admission. Request a tour on the website here or call 419.375.4649
Hayes Presidential Library & Museums–Fremont, OH
Book a tour to visit the Hayes home, a 31-room mansion where Rutherford B. Hayes and his family lived that is located next to the library and museum on the grounds of Spiegel Grove. The museum features two floors of artifacts and exhibits, including the Hayes’ carriage and Lucy Webb Hayes’ dresses. The museum regularly has one to two special exhibits.
Groups (15 or more people) planning a visit to the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums are asked to fill out a form to begin the reservation process. After the form is submitted, the reservations coordinator will contact you regarding availability of the date requested and to finalize the reservation.
Group Tours need to be scheduled 2 weeks in advance.
Johnston Farm & Indian Agency–Piqua, OH
Explore 2,000 years of Ohio’s rich history at Johnston Farm & Indian Agency, from ancient American Indian mounds through Ohio’s 19th-century canal era. This peaceful 250-acre site includes the John Johnston farm, where you can tour the restored Johnston home and several outbuildings to gain an understanding of Ohio circa 1829. Visit a museum that traces the story of the Eastern Woodland Indians in Ohio and take a ride aboard a 19th-century-style mule-drawn canal boat on a restored section of the historic Miami and Erie Canal.
