The Ohio Civil War 150 Committee and the Ohio Historical Society cordially invites you to attend the kick-off celebration of Ohio’s commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. There will be a muster event held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 on the West Lawn of the Ohio Statehouse beginning at 2 p.m.

Be there as the Ohio National Guard, Civil War 150 Commission, Ohio Historical Society and Ohio Statehouse kick off Ohio’s Civil War sesquicentennial commemoration by recreating the 1861 mustering of troops for the 1st Ohio Infantry. - National Colors of the 6th Ohio Volunteer Infantry
- National Colors of the 21st Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry

- National Colors Flank Marker of the 88th Ohio Volunteer Infantry
- Th traveling exhibit “Ohio & the Civil War, 150 Years Later” will debut. It was produced by the Ohio Historical Society with support from the Ohio Humanities Council, American Electric Power and the National Endowment for the Humanities We the People program.
