At Serpent Mound

 

In celebration of Ohio’s newly designated American Indian Week (the last week in September), we invite you to Serpent Mound for a special day of recognition of the continuing contributions and rich history of American Indians in Ohio.

 

Days Events

 

10:30-11:30am: Traditional flute playing

12:00, 2:00, and 4:00pm: Guided tours of the Serpent Mound

2:00-4:00pm: Performance by acclaimed singer/songwriter Steve Free

Childrens activities throughout the day: Stories, historic games, atlatl throwing demonstrations

Serpent Mound Museum will be open 9-5, guests can view the mounds any time, and walk the short nature trail along Scioto Brush Creek

 

No registration necessary, all activities are free to the public. An $8/vehicle parking fee helps support the upkeep of the park.
