Here’s a rare event that you’ll want to know about! A new orchid was recently discovered growing at Wahkeena Nature Preserve! It’s the Oval Ladies’ Tresses (also known as the Lesser Ladies’ Tresses). It’s a fall bloomer and was discovered after the peak bloom, so no photos of this one until next year.
