The Historical Society invites you to join us for a special day combining the Log Cabin Cookout with Open Doors. The Museum will be open to the public from Noon-5 p.m. featuring historic Highland County characters who will roam the museum and share their stories.

In the evening, enjoy a ham and bean supper served outside the historic log cabin, followed by a captivating program with a professional storyteller. Additionally, a bake sale will be held, offering treats made from old cookbook recipes and cherished family recipes.
