This event gives visitors the opportunity to experience Native cultures, past and present, from citizens of Federally Recognized Tribes whose ancestors were victorious in St. Clair’s Defeat (1791). This unique 2-day event will showcase interactive historic programming featuring Shawnee, Miami, Ottawa, and Wyandotte history and culture, with special children’s programming. Presentations will include discussions about Tribes today and modern Tribal perspectives, and traditional skills.

CLAIR’S DEFEAT REVISITED: A NEW VIEW OF THE CONFLICT (new exhibit in Museum Lower Level Gallery, with 15-minute award-winning video) MUSEUM - battle exhibits, precontact exhibit, gift shop, restrooms FORT BLOCKHOUSE OPEN each day – interpretive posters; 30-minute tours on Sat 11:30 and Sun 1:00 Children’s Story Time each day – 1:00 to 1:20 – Speaker Tent ANTIQUE TOOL DEMONSTRATION each day – 12:00 to 1:00 (Blacksmith Shop behind Museum) Also Visit: Log Cabin, Walk-by Museum, and Murals in Krenning Park across from the Museum; Monument; Wayside Exhibits Please check in at the Welcome table on the Museum front porch!
