Visitors starting their day at the Ohio History Center & Ohio Village will enter through the main museum entrance, via an Ohio State Fair ticket gate & security screening. Once you have your fair handstamp, you are all set!

The Ohio History Center & Ohio Village will be open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. every day of the Ohio State Fair. Please allow at least one hour to explore, and make sure to check walking paths & shuttle availability. Information will be available at the Ohio State Fair entry gate located at the main museum entrance.

There are three options for getting to & from the Ohio State Fair and the Ohio History Center. Please check operating times for shuttles. When arriving at the fair grounds, you can show your handstamp, and security screening will be required for re-entry.

1. There is a walking path from the Historical Lot (Ohio History Center) to Gate 3 at 17th Avenue.
2. The Historical Shuttle will run 10 a.m.-5 p.m. from the Ohio History Center entrance to the north side of Kasich Hall inside the fairgrounds. Please allow time before 5 p.m. for the last returning Historical Shuttle coming back to the Ohio History Center.
3. The Historical Lot Parking Shuttle will run between the Historical Lot and Cardinal Gate 1 during Ohio State Fair hours when Highway Patrol parks general parking in the Historical Lot.
