I-Form is an Internet-based application developed by the State Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio History Connection to facilitate the completion and submission of Ohio Historic Inventory and Ohio Archaeological Inventory forms online.
If you are new to I-Form, first review the System Requirements to ensure that your computer meets or exceeds the requirements. If you have the necessary configuration, please review the Getting Started with I-Form documentation prior to downloading the I-Form browser application. The Ohio Archaeological Inventory I-Form User Guide and the Ohio Historic Inventory I-Form User Guide are available below for download and must be referred to throughout the completion of survey forms. The Guidelines for the Recordation of Architectural Resources for the Ohio Historic Inventory in I-Form was created to aide in the completion of the fields on the Ohio Historic Inventory form and must also be referred to when completing survey forms.
It is important for both new and returning I-Form users to review the IV V4 Frequently Asked Questions and Latest Updates! download below prior to completion of survey forms. It will contain the most up-to-date changes made to I-Form.
For information on preparing your digital images for inclusion in the I-form applications, please review the I-Form Digital Imagery Standards below. Tools for UTM collection and online mapping are also available below.
