Winter Off-Trail Hike
See remote areas of Wahkeena that are not as accessible at other times of the year on a winter off-trail hike. You can view the topography of Wahkeena more clearly in winter and you may be surprised at how lively the winter landscape can be. This is a moderately strenuous hike. You should be in good physical condition and wear proper footwear. Plan for about four hours and bring a snack.
