Ohio Local History Alliance regional meetings of local historians and others active in local historical societies, museums and related organizations begin Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Massillon and Springfield.
This year’s theme is Engage, Educate, Empower: Taking Your Organization to the Next Level. Each meeting runs 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and includes a session related to the theme plus additional skill-building sessions, reports from the Ohio Local History Alliance and the Ohio History Connection’s Local History Office, an opportunity to share what your organization is doing and a tour of a nearby museum or historic site.
Cost is just $32 ($25/Ohio Local History Alliance or Ohio History Connection member), and includes continental breakfast and lunch. Register by the Monday before the meeting you plan to attend.
