Join us at the Ohio History Center on Saturday, April 13, as we welcome members of the Association of Lincoln Presenters for an afternoon of performances and conversation. Then, stay for dinner where you’ll be seated at a table with your very own Lincoln!
Lincolns by Day
In conjunction with their annual convention in Columbus April 11-14, members of the national Association of Lincoln Presenters will visit the Ohio History Center on Saturday, April 13, from 1-5 p.m. Around 40 Lincoln presenters -- people who portray the 16th president by adopting his persona -- will be available to answer your Lincoln questions and pose for photographs. (Word has it that some Mary Todd Lincolns may be on hand, too!)
At 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in the Ohio History Center’s Arthur C. Johnson Auditorium, presenters will share various aspects of Lincoln’s life and career in four-minute segments. Every four minutes, a new Lincoln will take over.
At 2:30 p.m., learn how the presenters developed their Lincoln personas, in the program Being Lincoln.
The 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 programs are all included with regular Ohio History Center museum admission, which is $10/adult; $9/senior (age 60+); $5/youth (ages 6-12); Free/Ohio History Connection member; Free/child (age 5 and under).
