Holiday Tours, Harding Home, Marion

Looking for a way to entertain family and friends this holiday season? Tours of the Harding Home will be available without advance appointments at 1 p.m. on December 19-21, and on December 26, 27 & 28. Tours begin in the Press House (the small, white cottage at east end of the Harding Home parking lot). Please allow about an hour and 15 minutes on the site. NOTE: The Home is not decorated for the holidays this year.
Lighting the Serpent, Serpent Mound, Peebles
Celebrate the winter solstice – bring a long taper candle and a flashlight and help volunteers place and light over 900 luminarias outlining Serpent Mound (believed to be an ancient solstice marker), or just take in the festive glow and reflect upon the significance of this world-renowned earthwork.
